Pawbook was built by psyn llc — a small software company based in Ohio focused on privacy-first, no-framework software. We saw grooming studios stuck with tools that were clunky, feature-poor, or clearly built for someone else's priorities. So we built one that actually fits the work.

Yes — every plan starts with a free trial, no credit card required. You get full access to all features for your plan during the trial period. Cancel anytime before it ends and you won't be charged.
You do. Your customer records, dog profiles, appointment history, and payment data belong to your studio. We don't sell or share your data with anyone. If you cancel, you can export your data before your account closes.
Yes. Cancel from your account settings at any time. There are no cancellation fees and no long-term contracts. Your account stays active through the end of your billing period.
A seat is a person on your team — whether they groom dogs all day or work the front desk. Starter includes 1 seat, Studio includes 3, and Pro includes unlimited. Extra seats are available as an add-on at $2/month each. The "Is a groomer" toggle controls whether someone appears in appointment scheduling.
Yes. Email reminders go out automatically 24 hours before every appointment. Payment receipts are also sent automatically when you log a payment. No manual steps required.
Pawbook lets you log cash, card, Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, and other payment types per appointment. We track what's been paid and what's outstanding — but we don't process payments directly. You collect payment however you prefer; Pawbook keeps the record.
